Trustline

A Stellar account setting that authorizes the account to hold a specific issued asset. An account must establish a trustline before it can receive any non-native asset.

Trustlines protect users from unwanted assets: you opt in to each issuer’s token (like USDC from Circle) before it can land in your account. Each trustline adds to your XLM base reserve requirement.
